Why did I want to join Your Support Matters?

As a learning disability nurse and therapist, I have spent many years supporting individuals to have their voices heard, achieve their goals and live the lives they choose. I have also supported Expert by Experience groups, including helping people to develop their skills and access employment opportunities.

The values and aims of Your Support Matters really align with my own, and I feel passionate about using my experience, knowledge and connections to contribute to the organisation and the people it supports.

I feel very privileged to have the opportunity to join the Board and am really looking forward to working with you all and seeing what we can achieve together
